D-Star and XLX Reflector

D-Star

D-STAR is a digital voice and data protocol specification for amateur radio. The system was developed in the late 1990s by the Japan Amateur Radio League and uses minimum-shift keying in its packet-based standard.

D-star can do Digital Voice and data. The graphic to the left illustrates some of the uses for D-Star.

After years of owning a D-Star radio I decided to build my own XLX reflector. XLX 309 is hosted in the cloud and is open for all operators. Currently this is not connected to any other modes but feel free to give it a try. The dashboard can be found at http://xlx.ke4tzn.com
